We fit telematics devices in vehicles leased from us. These devices collect data including vehicle location, driving behaviour (such as speed, acceleration, braking), mileage, diagnostic and usage data. We use this information to manage and protect our vehicles, verify usage, detect and respond to misuse or theft, maintain warranty and insurance arrangements, and enforce lease terms.

 

In specific circumstances described in your lease agreement (for example non-payment, unauthorised use or theft) we reserve the right to remotely immobilise the vehicle. This will only be done in accordance with applicable law, for safety or contractual reasons, and never in a way that would endanger you or others. We will retain telematics data only for as long as necessary, and access is restricted to authorised personnel.
